Caring about Neighborhoods 0.5 rating By Zuik ( Aug 02, 2016) There are a few good things about Parma Heights. However, I and many neighbors feel that they do not maintain our environment. It seems that there is no pride in this city. Other cities seem to care about their communities. Other cities seem to make their neighborhoods a priority ...Read More and expect people to maintain their property - renting or owning. Parma Heights does not. For instance, in Cleveland Heights, an inspector combs through the neighborhoods and sees who is in violation. This is done more times than not. It seems that Parma Heights does not do this. I live next door to someone who has garbage overflowing - on the side of the house; garage windows are broken, windows in the back of the house are broken, the smell of dog feces is the aroma we all smell, and the lovely barking of many dogs because they leave them outside all day and part of the night. Many complaints were given, but to no avail. I do not think that the council people nor the Mayor would live next door to this. I would like to see Parma Heights be the city that I knew when I was growing up. Read Less
