Experience the Great Outdoors in Pace, Florida! 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) If you are looking for a city in a perfect location, then you need look no further than Pace, Florida. Pace, population 20,039 (2010), is 15 miles from Pensacola, 23 miles from the Naval Air Station, 15 miles from Naval Air Station Whiting Field and 23 miles from Pensacola Beach. ...Read More The Escambia River, Blackwater River, Escambia Bay and the Pensacola Pier are only minutes away, and Blackwater State Park is also nearby. I love hiking, boating, biking, swimming and both freshwater and saltwater fishing, and Pace offers all that and more!

Pace is very close to Pensacola but is smaller and has less traffic and an excellent school system. There are plenty of restaurants, retail stores, antique and thrift stores, museums, home improvement stores, religious associations and several grocery stores. The cost of living is low, and the median housing price is 223,000. The climate is mild year around, with an average temperature of 85 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer and a monthly temperature in January of 54 degrees Fahrenheit.

Pace is not known for its exciting nightlife or vibrant downtown area, but if you love the outdoors but also want to be close to urban conveniences, then Pace is your place! Read Less
