Living in Oswego, Illinois, has a few upsides and a few downsides. One of the upsides, which I like a lot about the city, is that the crime rate is exceedingly low and the jobs pay quite well. I had no trouble finding a job when I moved here, and it seems that there are a lot of great local businesses which are regularly hiring both full-time and part-time workers.

Where Oswego could use a little improvement is that it doesn't have a whole lot of things to do. There are a few grocery stores in the city and enough regular stores where you can find the things you'll need for your daily life. If you're looking for high-end restaurants or a city that offers a lot of shopping or recreational activities, you may have better luck if you drive to a neighboring city. I don't mind a quiet city though, so it doesn't bother me too much.
