Sleepy Little Town 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( Jan 27, 2020) I guess if you are 55+ years old, this quiet little town is fine for you.
I would not recommend it to younger folks. After 8 PM the whole town seems to fall asleep.
Even nearby Moraga has more going on. I could not take it, so I moved to Mountain View, CA. ...Read More Read Less

Orinda, CA 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) I have been living here in Orinda, CA going on 10 years now and I love it here. Orinda is probably one of the best places to live, in my opinion. It's a happy friendly place with lots of good people and neighbors.

We have such amazing weather in the summer; our average is about ...Read More 62 degrees Fahrenheit. It really makes going to the different parks something else. The housing market is pretty stable, too. Our average home value is higher than that of all of California's. There is virtually no crime, which also raises the value of homes and property. The schools are just as good as well; with a graduation rate 23% higher than the state's. Although the overall cost of living is a little high, but that's to be expected from such a wonderful place.

All in all, I have enjoyed every minute of living here the past 10 years. It is a nice calm and quiet town without any of the drama from a big city. There’s very little stress. Read Less
