Living A Life Off The Beaten Path In Oak Harbor, WA User Rating 2 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) Oak Harbor, WA is a city located on Whidbey Island. The biggest employer of people in this city is the nearby Naval Air Station Whidbey, followed by the Oak Harbor School District, Whidbey General Hospital, and Wal-Mart.

One of the nicest things about Oak Harbor is that it has a

There is also not much in the way of good shopping opportunities in Oak Harbor. There are the Wal-Mart and an OfficeMax which are the two biggest non-grocery related retail outlets. For food there is also a Haggen's and a Safeway as well as a farmers market in the summer. Except for the Subway restaurant every other place to eat in Oak Harbor is a locally owned company with my favorite one being Flyers Restaurant and Brewery which serves pub food and craft beers.
