O'Fallon, Missouri - Home Sweet Home 4 rating By Anonymous ( Aug 22, 2012) I've lived in O'Fallon MO City for the last few years. I moved here when I had a new job offer and haven't looked back. My initial worries about knowing the area were gone after just a few days. I felt at home very quickly.

The people in O'Fallon have been there for many years a ...Read More nd are all incredibly social. Since I came from a populated city, I didn't know what to expect from such a small town. After working for a few weeks and exploring the sites, I feel like I have been a part of this area for years. I'm always greeted with a "hello" or a smile.

Since this is such a close knot community, the involvement with local government is high. People love their town and will easily voice their opinion on their likes and dislikes. This has created many an interesting conversation at the local watering holes, but always end with a smile and a handshake.

While I do miss cheering for my favorite sports teams, O'Fallondoes offer some excellent minor league teams. The River City Rascals are the local minor league baseball team and going to these games reminds me of how baseball should be: fun and relaxing with excellent camaraderie.

There are a whole host of recreational activities to enjoy there. The small movie theaters are my favorite. A few times people who went out to the movies stayed after to discuss their favorite parts.

If you are looking to find a place in America that Moes a little slower and smiles when you walk down the street, visit O'Fallon, Missouri. I made the move for work and I am incredibly happy. You are bound to experience new things while leaving your stress behind. People love to savor the moments of their lives, so why not you?
