ife including Mulcaheys, a bar that has lots of musical cover bands. North Wantagh has a wide range of restaurants including some great ones like the Cajun restaurant The Bayou. There are some great Italian eateries and pizza places including Umbertos with a great deep dish slice.
North Wantagh has some nice playgrounds and parks and has a fairly good school district as well. The town is neat and safe and has decent shopping on Hempstead Parkway, Sunrise Highway, and by the train station.
North Wantagh is also convenient for the LIRR and jobs in Manhattan, as well as for reaching the Wantagh parkway and southern state highway. Overall a great town to live in.
