Summers can be warm and humid, but comfortably pleasant. The winters can be cold and tricky, with day’s cloudy freezing to bitter cold, and breezy. There are rare severe storms, blizzards, freezing rain, hailstorms and tornadoes. For those willing to wear warm clothes and sacrifice a little financially, this area has a lot to offer.

The city has a variety of attractions and is well known for its arts and cultural and state park attractions. However, if you are not into the arts scenic amenities, there are so many other amenities and attractions for one to enjoy. Such as a handful of major and minor-league teams, sports activities, state parks, museums, shopping malls and many more exciting and thrilling destinations that are great for families, tourists and vacationers.
