No place like home in North Merrick! User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I have been living in North Merrick for over 20 years. There are grocery stores, shopping stores, and little coffee hangouts close around. The town of North Merrick is small but it is very close to other cities giving you more access to more amenities. The best areas in North Mer ...Read More rick are on North Merrick Ave where you can find groceries and on Jerusalem Ave where there is a coffee shop, shopping, and a grocery store. In town, a lot of locals go to Outback or the great Milo's restaurant for dinner and the bar. If you are looking for nightlife, drive down Merrick Ave toward Sunrise Hwy for a cluster of bars.

When it comes to starting a family or moving along, this is a nice area to make that big decision. Although do take into account that the real estate market is quite high making North Merrick not as desirable to live in. But the education system here is really wonderful. The parks are beautiful and great to walk by yourself or with a partner. Read Less
