North Laurel Country Life User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) North Laurel is a quiet and pleasant suburban area that boasts some of the best schools in Maryland. The area is diverse with a low crime rate, and is one of the best areas to raise a family. The cost of living is a bit higher than average, but worth it for the peace of mind.

...Read More enjoyed living in North Laurel even though it's a drive to get to most places for entertainment and nightlife. There's a huge skate park and areas for activities like athletics and the like, but not much to do otherwise. Another drawback is the rush hour commute to work in Baltimore or Washington, D.C., which can be a bit stressful at times.

All things considered, North Laurel is a great place to live. There isn't a lot of activity, but it's situated close enough to neighboring towns that offer more amenities. These towns offer much more in the way of shopping and dining. North Laurel is an ideal place to come home to after dealing with the hustle and bustle of city life. Read Less
