Nixa boasts a low cost of living and decent employment options. Housing in Nixa goes quick, so make sure to think fast! Low crime rates and excellent education options make Nixa one of the best places to raise a family in the Ozarks. The public schools score two percent higher than the American average. There are very few options for public transportation in Nixa, so be sure to consider that when moving.

There's much to do in Nixa for any personality. There is a swimming hole just outside of town past the Nixa Fire Department. I love going there in the summer to cool off in its clear waters. If I'm hungry after my swim, I adore Buckingham's BBQ and Grill. They serve cold beer and deliciously smoky barbeque. For a late-night rendezvous, I enjoy Coyote's Nixa Grille. They're perfect for a colorful happy hour cocktail or indulgent appetizer.

All things considered, Nixa has much to offer. The outdoor adventures and beautiful scenery make it all worthwhile, especially since the median summer temperature is only seventy-eight degrees. The cost of living is low, and the schools are amazing. I love it here. Read Less
