Newton, A Growing, Quiet Town Of Industry User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) Newton has a great downtown area, lined with nice restaurants and shops along Northwest Blvd and Main Ave. Whether you're looking for a nice tavern, great steak, Chinese food, Southern cuisine, or want something quick from a fast food joint, downtown has you covered.

A lot of the industry in the area comes from WestRock, Special Metals, Comm/Scope, and MDI. Living in Newton itself doesn't involve a lot of those problems. It does have a low of beautiful forestry that hugs the 19th century buildings and the springing new buildings that have begun to sprout throughout the area. Read Less
