Newnan: Underrated and Appreciated 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) Georgia is one of those states that has a lot of smaller cities under its umbrella. The are so many cities that a lot of beautiful and great cities don’t get the recognition or attention that they fully deserve, Newnan is one of those cities.
I remember living here and absolut ...Read More ely loving every minute of it. The people were so nice and hospitable that it made it hard to stay inside. I just wanted to go out and shake hands with everybody.

The thing I remember most about Newnan was its beautiful flowers. Sometimes I would just drive through just to see the areas with the most beautiful plant life in the spring. The number of things to do in this city are pretty good too. The movie theater is always open. The city isn’t that far from Atlanta the huge hub city so its easy to travel there for any additional entertainment wanted or needed. I did this all the time and never felt inconvenienced.

Furthermore, the restaurants here are nice and varied. You can go months and months without ever eating the same thing twice. The city tends to see a lot of musical acts as well and I attended about 5 concerts in a one-year span. This city is really full of fun. Read Less
