New Albany puts on a great front. It can certainly be quiet and safe, but it is FULL of the most miserable, angry, and rude people in every single neighborhood. You'll never see police, so speeding and aggressive driving is rampant, especially in residential areas. Children are never seen outside playing, anywhere, for whatever reason. The teenagers are horrible, spoiled and bored rich kids. There is nothing to do, and they allow zero culture to enter, especially when it comes to restaurants. We've lived in an affordable condo here for a year but we are already preparing to leave for a nicer and more positive area like Gahanna or Westerville.
