No go for Neosho 3 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) Neosho, known as the “flower box city” is a place of potential. However, I can't say that I love living here. Now I won't wholly bash this town. The cost of living here is respectable. And for a pretty rural area, there are great amenities such as parks, malls, and shopping a ...Read More reas. Also, you can expect a little more privacy living in the country/ suburban environment.

There are opportunities for people looking for work here. However, the median income per household, as well as the income per capita, are substantially lower than there respectable national averages.

Crime, unfortunately, is a problem in Neosho. When you consider the small community atmosphere and a total population of 12,000 people; the relative amount of reported crime is alarming. Another thing to take into account is the weather. It is not terrible. But it's not the weather that most people look forward to. We average between 20 deg to 75 deg, with a few outlying hot days here and there. Read Less
