When I lived in Muscogee, I could not get enough of its historical offerings. As a history buff, I found plenty of places to occupy me, like the Five Civilized Tribes Museum, the Ataloa Lodge Museum, the Grant Foreman house, and many more.

he best areas in Muscogee because there are so many. The Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame, the farmer’s market, a speedway, and the Greek Nation Casino are just a few of the attractions in this city. One of my favorite places to go was The Castle of Muskogee, a privately built castle complete with a renaissance village which hosts the annual Oklahoma Renaissance Festival.
There is no shortage of outdoor recreation in Muscogee either. The city maintains several nicely landscaped parks including Honor Heights Park which is a 122-acre botanical garden and arboretum. For water enthusiasts, Three Forks Harbor has state-of-the-art marina facilities and River Country Water Park offers a fun day of adventure for the whole family.
