Through The Woods To The Coast 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) Located near Wilmington, Murraysville is a town that sees a lot of traffic on the roads. It's a main thoroughfare for people who are trying to get to the coastal area in this part of North Carolina. The weather is usually beautiful, and the people are friendly for the most part. ...Read More There are a few areas of the town that I don't visit simply because they are a bit more rundown than others, but it's a good place to live for the past four years for the most part.

There are several special events held during the year, especially in the parks in the town since the weather tends to cooperate much of the time. Murraysville has quite a few parks and historical buildings, which is something that I like because I enjoy history. The churches in the town are older and offer the architecture that you might find in an old-world village. Many of the restaurants are independently owned, which means that you won't find a lot of the larger chain restaurants. However, the food is good, and there is an abundance of seafood served.
