Relaxing The Day Away 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2015) When I moved to Murray, UT, I was a student in college. I have been in the city for about 10 years. One of my favorite things to do is go to one of the many ski lodges. There are slopes for beginners and slopes for those who think they can get by with acting like a professional. ...Read More My favorite activity is sitting in the lodges and drinking hot chocolate while watching the people who come through.

This is an area that is very family friendly. There are older homes, mine being one of them. I can sit on my front porch and watch as people walk by on the sidewalk. There are several restaurants in the city, many that serve food from the comfort of home. The Tea Rose Diner is a different location as it serves the best Thai food I have ever consumed. There are also quite a few steakhouses. Most of these are located near the ski lodges.

Shopping is one of my passions. Fortunately, there is no lack of malls and shopping centers in Murray. If you're looking for the handmade items to purchase, you'll be looking for a while as most of the places to shop are the name brand stores. However, I have found some bargains at some of the malls that are more like outlets as they have wholesale items. There aren't a lot of attractions aside from the ski slopes. There are a few movie theaters, and you have a bowling alley along with an arcade. This is more of a place to move to if you want to relax and don't want the hustle and bustle of the inner city.
