Plenty of good restaurants and occasional festivals and live music events. A place you can safely take early morning and late afternoon walks. In my opinion the ...Read More crown jewel of the Roanoke Chowan area. The only improvement would be to have better shopping options. Now you must travel to Tidewater Va or Raleigh, NC to fine good shopping opportunities. There are a few Walmarts within a 30 mile radius. Read Less
