The Dual Nature of Mountlake Terrace 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) I'm always liked the Mountlake Terrace area of the Greater Seattle Metro. It's close enough to Seattle for major events, but far enough north of town that it isn't exactly urban. Mountlake Terrace is part of the Edmonds School District, which is a really good one, and graduation rates are high.

There's one of those Cinebarre movie theaters, adults only, where dinner and a show (with drinks, hence adults only) is a combination exercise. There used to be a CompUSA back when those were still around, and neighboring areas like Lake Forest Park and Edmonds have some cool local attractions.

There are only two major downsides to Mountlake Terrace; these are the cost of living, and the traffic. Mountlake Terrace proper shares a freeway exit with the Edmonds ferry dock, and that can complicate things when people want to get over to the Olympic Peninsula. Read Less
