Go Mt Vernon Wildcats! 1.5 rating By Anonymous ( Nov 22, 2018) I have lived in Mt Vernon for 12 years now and it is does have good paying jobs. Other than Jobs not so great. Summers are hot and sweaty, winters are cold and windy. There are a lot of banks, pizza joints, gas stations, factories and corn fields.
