Castle Park is the best attraction for a family looking for the thrill of an amusement park. There are many different activities. There are roller coaster rides for the thrill seekers, arcade for the gamers includ ...Read More ing the popular guitar hero, miniature golf and an awesome magic show. There is also an Art Museum and a Historic Park in the city.

The neighborhoods in Moreno Valley are fairly nice but they don't look very welcoming to me. There are many gates around houses and very few parks. There were a few broken down cars parked along some of the sidewalks.

There are not too many fancy restauarants in Moreno Valley but BJ's Restaurant & Brewery has absolutely delicious pizza. I also like China Garden on Sunnymead Blvd because they serve Chinese cusine and have a small All American Menu.

The very best night club is Summerbreeze on Day Street. They always are having their two dollar "you call it" drink specials. Every week they also bring in two new drinks to try based on their popularity online. Every night of the week is a different genre of music.

The Moreno Valley Mall is a great mall for shopping because of all the things that it has. There are two Macy's stores, a JCPenney and a Sear's. The mall actually has two movie theaters. For the coffee drinkers there are three shops with free WiFi. Another cool aspect is if you have children there is a playground in the middle of the mall for them to play with one adult while the other adult shops. Read Less

Moreno Valley was incorporated in 1984. It is located near March Air Reserve Base near Riverside, California. While the base no longer has the footprint of airmen that it did during the height of the Cold War when it was an active duty military base, it still has a presence in the area. Moreno Valley has a population of over 200,000. This large number of residents makes it one of the Riverside's largest suburbs.

Those who are looking to buy or rent a home in the city will be able to find homes that are below the typical price per square foot for the Riverside area and the state at large. Orange Crest, Canyon Crest, and Serrano Heights are three neighborhoods that realtors and residents recommend to people who are looking to start their search. There are a number of large homes that are perfect for families in these areas.

Moreno Valley enjoys a healthy economic base, and there are several large employers in the area who provide job opportunities for the community. The Riverside Community Hospital System offers several hospitals and clinics throughout the city. They employ a large staff of doctors, specialists, nurses, receptionists, and administrative staff. Southwest Healthcare is another large provider in the area that plays a major role in the health and well-being of the city's residents.

Moreno Valley has a reputation for having some of the best elementary schools in the state. While there are many good schools that serve the needs of children in grades kindergarten through sixth, Ridge Crest Elementary, North Ridge Elementary, and Cloverdale Elementary are three schools that stand out at the front of the pack.

Those who are looking to get out of the city to relax on a sunny California afternoon can head to Perris Reservoir. This large body of water is perfect for a day out on the boat. Whether you water ski, wakeboard, or just stay in the boat, the views from the lake are some of the best in all of Moreno Valley. March Field Air Museum gives you a glimpse into what life was like at the base back when it had a large number of airmen who were stationed there full time. You can become familiar with the aircraft that flew out of the area. Today, you can still see jets taking off from the base's runway that are operated by the California National Guard. Riverside County Park is a great place to head to for camping.

Moreno Valley's public transit is operated by the Riverside Transit Authority. The network of routes offer citizens a good alternative to travel by car. You can get to all of the main attractions by public transit.
