Montclair, VA: A Place of Peace 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) Living in Montclair, Virginia was the most peaceful 3 years of my life. Montclair is truly a small town in that it covers less that 7 square miles. At the heart of Montclair is Lake Montclair which provides opportunities to the residents of Montclair, Virginia.

The best areas i ...Read More n Montclair, Virginia may perhaps be that there are not many areas in which to stay busy in. Truly the best part of this quaint town is that you won’t get lost in the business. Don’t worry about getting bored though, as Washington, D.C. is not that far away. Jump in the car and take a drive and you can simply visit the national capital for a day.

Lake Montclair provides respite after a busy day at the office. While it is a small lake, it presents itself for fishing and kayaking. This small lake was created by damming up the waters of Powell’s Creek. At its deepest the lake is only 25 foot.

If you want a place to call home that has a true sense of community and can provide you with peace, then Lake Montclair is that place. Read Less
