Monroe, Wisconsin - A Fabulous Place to Live! User Rating 5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) Wonderful people, job stability, great schools, fun things to do, great places to both shop and eat are just a few of the great perks that you will find living in Monroe, Wisconsin!

My favorite place to visit is the Baumgartner's Cheese Store & Tavern. This place has it all, b ...Read More ut it's specialty are their authentic homemade aged to perfection cheeses! You have to see it to believe it! They also give you the chance to sample which is really nice to taste the savory flavors but it's hard choosing which ones you like the most because they are all absolutely fantastic!

There's plenty of other activities to do here as well especially if you like the outdoors. Hiking, trails, designated walking paths, playground equipment, fishing holes, camping and more are a few things that you can do at our parks. I really like the fact that the parks have locations both for setting up a tent and for RV camping too! Read Less
