The suburban communities I have visited around my own give a very welcoming impression, even while shopping for my own house I experienced friendly reception from individuals in the community which lead me to make the decision to purchase in this area.
Monroe has many places to grab a hot coffee or latte, as well as many different ethnic cuisines I frequently visit. Monroe also has a diverse population of residents, many of them commute to the city where they work. The best areas to eat in Monroe are off Highway 2, just off of the 522. Monroe has a population of nearly 18,000, with a national median home value of 260K, which seems to be the reason why in recent years people have begun to look outside of the greater Seattle area for more affordable housing.
