In the southern part of Orange County, Mission Viejo boasts plenty of positive features to offer those planning to relocate or travel here. Modern beautiful homes make up most of this city's composition. Plenty of living amenities and parks are found throughout the city, as well. ...Read More
East of the famous Laguna Beach, Mission Viejo sits at the foot of mountains, offering a beautiful view. The climate is moderate, averaging no lower than 45 degrees and no higher than 85 degrees, making it an attractive place to live. Real estate prices are still fairly high, but worth the money spent for those who can afford the amounts. Another refreshing fact about this scenic city is that it was rated the safest city in the USA in 2007.
With the city's main focus as residential development, visitors may be disappointed with Mission Viejo. I have traveled through there several times and found very little for attractions. Dining venues are plentiful, several bars are scattered through the area, but shopping is minimal, mostly consisting of grocery stores. The Shops at Mission Viejo is a great area for major department and chain stores, but no unique stores are found there.
