If you're looking for a city to live in that has all the seasons in one state, then Midwest City, OK is for you! I have lived in Midwest City, OK for about ten years and I have loved every minute of it. The only downfall to the city is that when it snows, you aren't getting out o ...Read More
f your driveway unless you have a four-wheel drive truck. However, the snow is gorgeous and you can see the tops of the mountains from just about anywhere in the city. One of the things I like about the city is that it focuses a great deal on sports and getting the community active. There is a large soccer complex as well as golf courses that you can visit during the year. There is also a large water park that has the best slides I have ever been on.
If you are thinking about moving to Midwest City, you should be prepared for the onslaught of business people. There is a large convention center where meetings are held through the year. Most of the people who attend the center are respectful of those who live in the city. The city is also home to several hotels.
Finding something unique to eat is not that hard to do. On almost every corner it seems there is a different kind of restaurant. This is not a problem if you like to eat, but if you like shopping for clothes and other items, you have to travel to the next city over. There are not as many malls and retail stores as some of the larger cities.
