The people in Midvale are sweet, and mostly treat those in need like family. The Mayer, in my opinion, is trying hard to clean up the city with the addition of new business and housing to attract younger people. The city is aging, and in some parts it’s a little run down, and maybe even “dirty” looking. Some of these parts are better untraveled after the sun sets, but again, this is often the case in many cities.
My best advise, if considering visiting or moving here, pay us a visit. See it for yourself. I’ve been here for a few years and like the small town that is Midvale, but I suppose it may not be for everyone, especially if you’re thinking about raising a family.
