Modest Neighborhoods in Midlothian 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) Midlothian has a lot of older modest homes that are well built. I live in a mature neighborhood and it shows with the beautiful trees and scenery and the friendly neighbors. Living in Midlothian comes with its benefits. We have a lot of restaurants, taxes are affordable, the scho ...Read More ols are great and we have transportation options. This makes my commute to Chicago very easy, especially on the weekdays.

Midlothian is slowly being developed with new businesses and homes to accommodate the growth. We have a fitness center, Walmart, parks, festivals in the summer and access to other small towns. Forest Preserve Park is very nice for hiking or biking in the summer. The winters can be very brutal here as it gets very cold and snows a lot. Summers are okay but it can get very humid.

We have several fast food and sit down option restaurants. Some of my favorites are Aurelio's Pizza and Eggheadz Cafe which have some of the best breakfast items. Read Less
