Middlesex, NJ City Review 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) Middlesex, NJ is a suburb of New York City, and it is definitely appealing for those who have families, or for those who simply want to get out of the hustle and bustle surrounding the downtown Big Apple. Of course, there are pros and cons to any locality, and it is no different ...Read More with Middlesex. Here is some information to consider.

First of all, there are many nearby attractions that people can enjoy. These would include Roosevelt State Park, which has tennis courts, basketball courts, and a number of opportunities for fishing, biking, and hiking. The Stone Museum also will offer the geologist in your family plenty to explore their passion, and finally the Cornucopia Cruise offers couples a nice romantic night of dinner right along the bays of New Jersey in nearby Perth Amboy.

The community is safe, quiet, and relatively affordable for the area. The median price of a home is around $300,000 and the rent is usually around $1,300. The crime statistics show events that are significantly lower than those found in the city.

There is no mall in the area but there was a shopping center and several specialty shops. Overall, it wasn’t a bad place to live. Read Less
