I really like living here in Michigan City. It's right on Lake Michigan so there is always a lot to do in the summer. Going out on a boat or visiting the beach with friends is really fun when the weather is nice.

igh paying job might take a little time. On the other hand, it's really cheap to buy a modest house here so it isn't too bad. You'll also want to lock your doors at night because from what I've seen, the crime rate can be just a little bit high. It's nothing to worry a lot about though.
There's an alright selection of shopping and restaurants to choose from. Most of them are located in the Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets, which I think is the best area in Michigan City simply because you can get a lot of shopping done in one place.
