rfront, located between two gorgeous Rivers, (lagoons), it's a boater's Paradise w/access to the ocean through Port Canaveral. We moved from Cape Canaveral, (12yrs.), to M.I. (better schools, bigger house,yard, pool, garage).
Been here 17yrs.+ can't say enough great things about it, just Love It! ?

I absolutely loved living in Merritt Island, Florida. This beautiful little town is located in Brevard County, on the eastern coast of Florida. Technically, this is not really an island, it's considered a peninsula.

mily will love living on Merritt Island. This lovely city has some of the best schools in Florida. It is also home to the Merritt Island Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to a variety of natural wildlife in the area.
There are plenty of days to enjoy the wonderful weather in Merritt Island, Florida. The average temperature in this area is 95 degrees in July and approximately 51 degrees during the middle of January, Merritt Island is an affordable place to call home. The average price for a nice single family dwelling is approximately $247,000.00. The community is small with about 37,000 residents, so it has that close small town atmosphere. This is the ideal community to call home.
