Local employment includes Valspar. You can find a large shopping establishment at Lincoln Mall. This used to be one of the largest shopping malls in the area. The Matteson Auto Mall is the largest collection of Illinois automobile dealerships. Therefore, shopping is very good in Matteson. You can find the most common retail stores here, such as Target and JCPenney.

Otherwise, education, employment and crime are serious problems here. The housing is only average and uninspiring. Tin Fish is a fine dining establishment of Matteson, Illinois. You also might like the Cottage on Dixie, Mr Benny's Steak & Lobster or La Boute Bistro & Bar. Read Less
