Mastic, NY: A Great Place To Put Down Roots User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) One of the best areas in the entire state of New York is our town, Mastic. My family and I have been living in Mastic for 17 years now and we can't imagine living anywhere else! The great people here are like family. It's a beautiful town with well-kept homes, great schools, stab ...Read More le housing and job markets, and pretty good weather most of the time. The only issue we have begun having here lately is a climbing crime rate. Knowing this town and the people who run it, I expect that to be under control very soon now.

Work hard, play harder, the saying goes. We have some pretty great attractions and things to do around here. One of the most popular is Gateway's Haunted Playhouse. There's also the Country Fair Entertainment Park, the Animal Farm Petting Zoo, and the always fun to see ABC (Already Been Chewed!) Gum Wall of Patchogue. We have a few local bars and pubs as well, and a few restaurants where you can relax and grab a bite. No one who comes here will be disappointed, that's for sure! Read Less
