Make Sure You Check Mamaroneck! 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) During my time living here in Mamaroneck, New York, I feel like I have not skipped a beat in any way, shape or form. Usually when a person relocates, they typically get homesick. This was not the case when I arrived to Mamaroneck back in the early 2000's. Since I would be living ...Read More here for some time, I instantly went out to see what my city has to offer and this is what living in Mamaroneck is like.

You get your typical northeastern weather here, with hot summers, followed by chilly fall and cold winters. Low crime is a plus, especially for someone up in the years as myself. I feel very safe throughout this city as I frequent the Marshlands Conservancy quite often. During my time out, I can feel confident going to any restaurant or coffee shop.

Sometimes the weather can be a bit harsh, definitely due to the fact that we live right beside the Atlantic. I know most people find it hard to deal with, but our city's public works system keeps the roads clear during snow season. Read Less
