My husband and I ate for the first time at Grey’s restaurant on 5th street. First, I loved the building and art work, but the food was a total complete and delightful surprise! Absolutely everything was delicious and beautifully presented. From the salad, loved the deviled eggs ...Read More
, to the main course - I chose crab cakes. Can I say AMAZING!! I can honestly say, they were the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. My husband chose the ribs. He would stop every few minutes and say, “Wow”. Then we finished it off with strawberry shortcake. We felt like we were in a high end, expensive restaurant, but the price was surprisingly reasonable. Quodos to Shawn Merrow, a truly gifted chef!! We loved it and will be back!

atisfaction. Cattle Annie's Restaurant bar and grill has great food and top country singers who perform on stage live. Trace Adkins, Blake Shelton and Jamey Johnson just to name a few.
One thing I love about living in Lynchburg, Virginia is easy access to the scenic views of the Blue Ridge Parkway. I have taken pictures of the various scenic overviews and they are to die for. I have also pulled over and had picnic lunches at the many overlooks that are breathtaking. I also like to walk along the scenic route of the James River at a place called Percival's Island. Here you can walk, jog, run and fish right along the James River.
I also like the fact that Lynchburg Virginia offers museums of fine artwork at the Academy of Fine Art. Lynchburg also has the Point of Honor Museum which features a gift shop and memories of the Lynchburg area. My kids love to visit this as well as Amazement square, which offers lots of fun activities for children. Interactive music station, ride the James River in a simulator boat or ride a indoor zip line. The River Ridge Mall is excellent for a one stop shop.
If you are planning on visiting or relocating to the city of Lynchburg Virginia, talk with someone at the visitor information center. They can give you all the information you need about our wonderful city.
There is really nothing I can say that is bad about Lynchburg Virginia. There is just too much to do and so much to see.
