is a Long Island Railroad stop. Numerous buses also pass through the neighborhood. There is a White Castle location in Lynbrook, which is very unique because there really aren't that many White Castles around.
Like I said, there are some cons. One major con is the fact that Lynbrook is particularly known for nosy neighbors and residents who are paranoid and trigger happy with calling 911. The neighborhood has its own local police department, and they are especially known for stopping, frisking and harassing people. If you walk around there enough, you will get stopped by police at some point, and you will have to show your ID.
