A very nice place to live 4 rating By Anonymous ( Apr 03, 2025) My only complaint about Lutz is the traffic. I have been here 20 years and it was manageable when I moved here. It is now a nightmare. Bumper to bumper for extended miles on SR 54 and NOT just during drive time. Lutz is high and dry so I have no worries about flooding.

2 top tier hospitals less then 10 miles away. Several medical clinics and hundreds of doctors in the immediate area.
I lived in Pinellas for decades and it is so nice not having to drive through Tampa when going out of town. Read Less

If the outdoors are your thing, we have plenty to offer! With an abundance of parks, bike trails, hiking trails, and canoe launch sites, it is a nature lovers paradise. Some of the best areas in and around Lutz to enjoy these are Lake Park, Lettuce Lake Park, and Flatwoods Park, to name a few.

Now admittedly, Lutz can be a little on the quiet side. For those craving a little more action, we are just a short drive from St. Pete, Clearwater, and the pristine Gulf beaches. Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, and Lowry Park are also just a stone's throw away. Read Less
