I don’t really like it here but it could be good for some people. My problem with this place is crime. I got two bikes stolen here after four years, but it’s not a horrible town. ...Read More

The City has set up a few traffic lights to trap you! The traffic light will change from Green to Red with a half a second of Yellow. They charge $75 fines. Justice of the Peace, Billy Ball is about 77 years old (as of 2018) & based on how he talks & thinks - he never graduated ...Read More
from High School; he is very vindictive & hates people! Suddenlink & Consolidated are the only 2 choices for internet & TV - they take advantage of the people by charging higher than usual rates & fees. Suddenlink will harass you for $70 for the rest of your life for their newest scam policy to bill you 1 full billing cycle after you cancel. Keep in mind you have to pay them up front. Suddenlink charged me $119.75 for basic internet. It was about 60 degrees outside, raining, cloudy - I drove to the only Walmart, which is always crazy busy in the parking lot as well as inside. Birds all over the parking lot with trash on the grounds. People just drive over the pigeons, birds there, so they are smashed, dead, smelly.I ran in & out in about 15 minutes & someone called the Police, who was waiting for me. My dog was in the car with the windows rolled up. The people there have tunnel vision, nosey, dumb. I was assaulted by a black female named Stephanie. She worked at a background checking company - she was driving expired license plates from Illinois for over 1+ year & she had other family driving their vehicles on expired license plates from Illinois. A big white female named Bliss, purposely slammed my new car door, denting & scratching it. The people are very hostile there!

The state of Texas is huge and is known for its mix of cultures. I spent a lot of time living in the state and I have a lot of experience from a lot of different cities in the area. Texas is one of the most broad and open states but one of my favorite cities within it is Lufkin. ...Read More
Lufkin is a quiet city with many different places to visit to have fun. It is very underrated in terms of the cool things it has such as the Naranjo museum and the Trout Zoo. The food here like most parts of Texas has a good mixture of great southern and Mexican flavors that blend great.
My time in Lufkin made my family grow closer because of the great atmosphere and friendly demeanor of the people. I remember shopping at great stores wit my family and just laughing the day away. Overall this small city in Texas has a lot of charm and fun hidden under it and I wouldn’t mind moving back there.
