Lithia Springs, GA - Atlanta's Neighbor User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) Living in Lithia Springs, GA for three years has been nothing but a great joy. The city is just minutes away from Atlanta, and has lush greenery everywhere you look. I really love this small town, I can enjoy life at a slower pace here. What I like most is the cost of living and taxes here in Lithia Springs, GA. The schools system is good. The top rated Annette Winn Elementary School, is where my child currently attends. The teachers are amazing at this school and really want to see your child succeed.

Some of the best areas to go to are close by. One place that is a must to visit is the Mill ruins at Sweetwater Creek State Park. These historical ruins are left as a reminder of what happened during the Civil War. Another great place to go is a place called Hidden Escapes. At Hidden Escapes a group of my friends and I enjoyed the excitement and collaboration of solving puzzles to create an exit to leave locked rooms. So much fun seeing how well each of our personal skills put together worked to solve one problem.

On the weekends and take my son to Downtown Douglas were we shop and walk around just for the exercise. Later we partake in a meal at one of the area eateries. I really love this town and how the citizens greet and come together for annual activities. This is truly a great place to live and raise your children. Read Less
