Vibrant Suburb with Small Town Qualities User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) Lino Lakes, Minnesota is an outer-ring suburb located to the northeast of Minneapolis/St. Paul. The city is very vibrant and independent when considering it is a suburb. The city also has an excellent public system with low student to teacher ratio that benefits students immensel ...Read More y. The city is kept safe by a fair and competent police force that informs residents of any pertinent information to keep them safe.

Shopping, dining and nightlife are great. Major shopping centers are nearby, and Lino Lakes itself has a variety of unique shops and restaurants which keeps it competitive with the twin cities.

Lino Lakes has the charms, safety, and sense of community you would find in a good small town with all the same conveniences of a bigger city. In the middle of the city you'll find the Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Reserve, which has many paths and trails and is promoting of a healthier lifestyle throughout the community.

Overall, Lino Lakes is a great option for those looking to raise a family and for those looking to settle in a commerce-driven suburb with a good economy while maintaining a quaint small-town feel. Read Less
