Lewiston has a lot to offer for a small city. I enjoy taking advantage of some of the free activities that the city offers including the festivals at Androscoggin River in the summer and Lost Valley for skiing in the winter. Androscoggin is a beautiful river with a lot of natural scenery that is perfect for taking pictures.

The best thing about living in Lewiston is the accessibility to other small towns such as Auburn. Auburn is about 5 miles away and is perfect for those that want to venture out and shop or enjoy getting a change of scenery. I recommend the Auburn Riverwalk. Lewiston has a lot of museums that may keep the children entertained or antique shops including the Orphan Annie specialty gift shop.

Lewiston is very family oriented and we do our best to welcome newcomers. I have a few neighbors that relocated from New York and they rave about how peaceful Lewiston is in comparison to the big city.
