Lemont, IL: Come On In, You'll Love It Here! 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) These days it isn't easy to find a nice place to live with a small town feel and great people that make up a fantastic community, but that's exactly what you will find here in Lemont, IL! I have been living in Lemont for 13 years now and this place improves with every passing yea ...Read More r. Housing is easy to find, affordable, and nice. Jobs are plentiful. The crime rate is minimal. The weather is dreamy most all year long. I guess if I had to find one fault with the place it would be that the schools aren't as on point as they should be, with some pretty high dropout rates and not too impressive graduation numbers. No place is perfect though, and the citizens have been assured that these issues are being worked on and are headed for improvement.

For entertainment and fun, we have the nearby Sagawau Environmental Learning Center with skiing and other great activities, the annual Bengtson's Pumpkin Fest in the Fall, and the Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve where one can walk, jog, or bike and take in the beautiful natural scenery. Read Less
