I have lived in Leisure City, Florida for many years and still do today. The population has grown from about 50,000 people to over 100,000 people today. Attractions involve a carnival that comes to town around Christmas. The best areas are the Florida Keys just about 45 minutes south, and several local restaurants along the way. Rent is relatively medium to high.

Work is easy to find but be prepared to try multiple places. If one were to move here it would be best to apply for higher positions rather than entry-level jobs. Indoor and outdoor jobs are available everywhere. Nearby is an Air Force Base where qualified people can work.

Making friends has come easy. The nightlife is upbeat and finding friends to go out with is simple. If you do personal projects in your free time, there is a local Home Depot and a Lowe's where you can buy supplies. I frequently buy from them and it's a good experience.
