Review Lazy Lake
An open sewer with the worst neighbors you can imagine
At first I loved it here. Whats not to love?8 houses on the lake that have 70 year old septic systems -- and fecal coliform levels 5 times the EPA regulated limit. And when I brought it up and had the water tested? They cut off the aerator at my end of the lake -- so the septage backed up for three years. Think I'm exaggerating? Look on google earth from 2014 to now. The satellite doesn't tell false tales.Faked elections with ineligible non residents -- all the while secretly negotiating personal deals with developers trying to rezone from single family to RM25 -- thats 25 units where there are now 1 per lot.And the they lie more. Not making any of this up either.Sick people.

You'd never know you were in the middle of a city....
Lazy Lake has to be one of the most charming places to see! All private residences and only a single dead end street, but accessible for a stroll down the lane. Completely surrounded and shielded by Wilton Manors, Lazy Lake offers lots 4 times the size of neighboring Wilton Manors. The town itself if the smallest municipality in Broward County, Florida -- consisting of just 15 houses. The homes while each having a singular character are noted for their landscaping and palms -- varieties of which are countless. The lake itself is for residents only alas, no swimming if you just walk by. This little place is an oasis in Wilton Manors/Fort Lauderdale and feels much more like being in the country than city. Yet when I stayed here it was only a 4 block walk to the nightlife and restaurants of booming Wilton Drive.
