cities around Lawndale take a lot of the major attention away from tourists on the west coast, which usually translates to a very tranquil atmosphere around this region. The high school districts are nothing more than average, and alternative districts in neighboring cities are a better choice.
The beach is approximately fifteen minutes away depending on traffic and the weather is usually great for most of the year. There are several fast food restaurants and shopping malls in the area. There are a few options for grocery stores as well. Traffic is always bad during rush hours and weekends, but that is one of the only negatives about this general area.
