Sweet Town In The South 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) I've lived in Laurinburg, NC for five years now. It's a small town with neighborhoods that are close together instead of spread apart. There really aren't a lot of businesses or shopping centers because it's a town that connects Gibson and Prospect. Many people drive through the ...Read More town when they go to the coast, keeping Highway 74 busy in the summer months.

There is a lot of history in the town. The John Blue House and Heritage Center is a large home that has been transformed into a center that features artifacts and displays. One of my favorite places to go and one of the only attractions for families to enjoy is the Outback Motorsports Complex. There are various events held at the complex during the year, such as dirtbike and ATV races. You can also take your off-road vehicles to the complex to ride them. There are a few trails on the property and nearby that you can walk on while getting a good view of the tracks as well. Read Less
