Having grown up in Miami Beach, FL, Lauderhill was just a short drive away. Whether looking to get away from larger tourist crowds in Miami, looking for great restaurants and cheaper prices, or just going to the most beautiful beaches, visiting Lauderhill was always a fun destination to take.

Whether I just wanted to find a more secluded beach, without all the tourists and crowd, or just wanted to get away from the "big city", Miami Beach, Lauderhill was a great beach destination to make. It also has the best quality restaurants, and being raised in a Brazilian family, I found many Brazilian restaurants in the area, as well as Latin cuisine, which greatly suited my tastes. Shopping is also a great attraction of the area. With various outlet malls, smaller chain (strip) malls, and many boutique shops, you could find all brands, and all price ranges to fit any style and any budget.

The city of Lauderhill is one of the less populated cities in Florida, still offering the beach getaways, restaurants of all kind, and a great destination for shoppers, in all price ranges and looking for all kinds of styles.
