The schools here are barely getting by, I mean the graduation rates are deplorable with many not even making it out of high school. I do commend the students at doing the best that they can, although times are not favorable to them.
There is plenty to do in and around the New Mexico Highlands University area. You can find many eateries, and lots of parks as well. All in all I think this town may be good for a single person, or either a family with older children. Give a visit, and you can see what Las Vegas has to offer you!
