Are You Ready For Some Football 2.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) One of the best things about living in Landover, Maryland is its central location. The community borders Washington, D.C. and is close to major highways. There's also a lot of shopping centers in nearby towns and communities with major department stores like JC Penney and Nordstr ...Read More om. One of the most popular supermarkets, Wegmans, is about 5 minutes away.

Landover is somewhere in the middle of best and worse places to live. You can find some nice quiet neighborhoods, but there are also areas that have been plagued by criminal activity. Efforts are being made to develop and clean up the community and affordable housing can still be found in most areas. The schools are a part of the Prince George's County system, which are not among the best in the state.

It really depends on the area you choose. One of the best areas in Landover is located nearby Fedex Field, which is the stadium where the Redskins play. This is an added bonus for football fans. Another is near the Garrett Morgan Boulevard metro station, which is very convenient and cost efficient for commuters. Read Less
